School Successes

We embrace a philosophy of preparing the whole child for the whole world, and this perspective to education provides opportunities for children to develop their potential.

Whilst these results are very important we believe children should have opportunities to excel at a whole variety of activities. As such Moor Allerton School provides a kaleidoscope of extra-curricular activities and school events which support our rich and varied education programmes.

Children are encouraged to take part in individual challenges ranging from chess, sport and musical grading and compete in national competitions such as Primary Maths Challenge, Poetry Writing, and Swimming Galas etc. Many opportunities are provided to ‘playing’ a role as team member in various sporting events plus drama productions and public speaking.

And whilst academic success and achievement are an important part of the schools' aims, all children at Moor Allerton are encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities and achieve the highest standards they can.

When engaged in challenging activities, pupils are encouraged, in an atmosphere of healthy competition, to try and win by 'playing' the best they can in a fair and appropriate manner.
