Welcome to Moor Allerton – a school at the heart of Didsbury.

Moor Allerton is an independent primary school for children who are bright and bubbly, quiet and thoughtful, eager and enquiring. We appreciate their differences and respond to their individual needs, nurturing them within a stimulating and caring environment. We are justifiably proud of our school’s character, energy and sense of fun.

We have a reputation for consistently high academic achievements and notable successes in sport, music and drama. We encourage and enable our children to think for themselves, to be confident in their own abilities and to develop into individuals who are caring, confident and independent.

Primary school education should be an enriching experience that inspires a life-long love of learning and enquiry. Our small classes, specialist facilities, extra curricular activities, clubs, residential courses and school trips, help us to achieve this aim.

Situated at the heart of Didsbury for almost 100 years, we are part of the local community. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes and caters for children of all faiths.
